Zdravo! I'm Desia (not actual name c;), a 20 year old linguistics student from Serbia. I've decided to create a small website as a home for little and not-so-litle projects I intend to do in the future. Expect linguistic nerdery, music, lots of writing about ~feels~, and who knows what else, actually!
Why do this?
I consider myself to be a decently curious and creative person, but I feel as though I have rarely been sufficiently motivated to actually get past the point of fantasizing about creating something. Lately, as my life has begun to change in pretty significant ways, I realized that, among other things, I don't want to spend the rest of it daydreaming to the point of sometimes being detached from the world around me entirely. I guess this website is the first step in a long journey of grounding, self-discovery (as cliche as that is!), beating perfectionism and commitment anxiety, and tons of other things I may not even realize I'm doing yet. I'm excited to have other people with me as I embark.
